Welcome! I am looking forward to meeting you
and capturing some amazing moments together.

Let's make this a stress free, anxiety free, fun experience!

Hi there, my name is Callie Cooper. I got my first camera in 2005 and really took to the art of photography. I love how photography is both creative and analytical. When I'm not taking pictures, I am busy with my husband and 3 children, our many pets, and my large collection of house plants.
I can't wait for our 30 minute session! You can expect a text from me the morning of your session confirming our meeting place.
To better prepare you for your session, please look over the information below:
I'd love to know more about what you want!
Please answer a few quick questions about your expectations for our session
5 Tips and Tricks:
1) Don't Be Late
Please remember we only have a short time scheduled, so be on time. 30 minutes is not long! Please be on time. If this is hard for you, I totally get it...just ask my husband! The best way to keep your shoot stress free is plan to be early. There are typically sessions booked back to back, so we can only shoot during your allotted time. There is not a lot of wiggle room.

2) Let me do the wrangling
For Family or Pet sessions: Take off your "Parent Hat"! I will direct your child(ren)/pet(s). It will get chaotic and cause tension if we are all barking commands. Make this a great family experience and let me be the director / wrangler / "get your finger out of your nose"-er (or not, those make great pictures, too!).

3) What to wear
When choosing what to wear think layers and accessories. Layers work great for multiple looks! Try: jackets, hats, sunglasses, blankets, etc. Avoid bold logos, words, and neon colors. Wearing coordinated but not matching clothes looks best for couples or family shoots.

4) Say Cheese (Or not...)
I will ask for smiles and eye contact for the posed portraits. But a lot of the session will be much more natural moments. I will be directing for lots of movement and prompting for authentic emotions. So don't feel like you have to look at the camera and smile big the entire time.

5) No judgement zone
Let's have a fun! I'm not comfortable in front of the camera, either. I have crazy kids, too. I'm a big dork, also. I understand, really! BUT...it is so important to be in pictures! Let me know if you have any specific insecurities or concerns and we will work around them.

Can I leave you a tip?

Tips are accepted and very much appreciated but not at all expected. If you are so inclined, I welcome cash, Venmo @ccooper1697, or when purchasing your photos there will be an opportunity to tip.

Can I see the pictures during my session?

You do have to wait until the gallery is delivered to you through Shoott. We have so little time together, you are just going to have to trust me!

What if I don't know how to pose?

No Problem! I will put you into a base pose and then we will move and laugh our way to the next base pose. If you want to do some homework check out some posing tips in the Helpful Links below.
